Application: Full Planning Permission - Rear Extension and Side Extension
We met with the client in the middle of June 2009 at their house on the outskirts of London. It was decided that Drawing and Planning would prepare a quotation for a rear and side extension and rear roof dormer with velux windows at the front pitch of the property. Once a price was agreed and our terms and conditions signed, we started work immediately on the following drawings and documents:
Existing Floor Plans and Elevations
Proposed Floor Plans and Elevations
O.S. Map Location Plan
Ariel Photo Survey
Design and Access Statement
Full Planning Permission Application Form
This development did not come under permitted development as the side extension was greater the 4m from the existing house and the rear dormer required the pitch angle to be raised. These drawings took two weeks for Drawing and Planning to prepare and the client received all their documents for proofing. Once the documents and drawings had been signed off and paid for. We submitted the Application on behalf of the client, together with a council fee of £150.
Seven weeks after the application had been lodged the planning office requested the rear extension to be reduced in size by 500mm squared. Drawing and Planning did not charge them for this change. Three weeks later we were pleased to inform the client that their Planning application had been granted.
REAR EXTENSION AND SIDE EXTENSION APPLICATION GRANTED
Drawing and Planning's Fee - £2,100 + Vat
Council Fee - £150
Client Testimonial : “Very good and efficient service, we would have no problem recommending Drawing and Planning”
