  • PROJECT Planning permision is saught to remove the side to side and front to back walls on the ground floor, leaving the staircase rising from a single open-plan room. All historic decoration - panelling, comice, etc - will also be removed. In the basement, it is proposed to remove the side to side wall and various other internal partitions and replace the stair with a spiral staircase, again creating a single large space. A glazed roof encloses the rear area.
